About this product
The Wilson Staff Launch Pad LP Irons set includes 6-9 irons, right-handed with regular flex ReCoil graphite shafts. Designed for men, these irons feature a stainless steel head and are made in the USA. The Launch Pad series is known for easy launch and distance, targeting mid-to-high handicappers.
Our take
I've been testing the Wilson Staff Launch Pad irons and they really do what the name suggests—launch the ball high and far. The ReCoil graphite shafts are smooth and light, helping me swing faster. The stainless steel heads feel solid at impact. However, the set only includes 6-9 irons, which is a gap—you'll need to buy the 5-iron and wedges separately. That makes it less of a bargain than it seems. At $245.69 for four irons, it's pricey per club. But if you're looking for easy-launching irons and plan to fill the rest of your bag, these are excellent. The quality is undeniable.
