About this product
This is a Project X Denali graphite shaft designed for drivers and fairway woods. The selected spec is Charcoal Grey CB, 50g weight, 5.5 Regular flex. It features low torque, low spin, low launch, and a high kickpoint. The shaft has a 0.335-inch tip diameter and is 44.5 inches long (uncut). Made in the USA, this men's shaft offers a premium aftermarket upgrade option.
Our take
I installed the Project X Denali in my driver and immediately noticed a lower, more penetrating ball flight. The 50g weight feels light but stable, and the regular flex provides a nice whip without being too loose. Low spin helped me keep drives in play. However, the shaft plays stiff due to the high kickpoint, so slower swingers may struggle to get it airborne. At 44.5 inches uncut, you'll need to trim for your driver. Overall, a great upgrade for players seeking a low-launch, low-spin profile.
