About this product
The Majek MX4 hybrid iron set includes clubs from 7-iron through pitching wedge (PW), all hybrid designs. They feature regular flex graphite shafts and are right-handed. The hybrid head is intended to combine the forgiveness of a hybrid with the control of an iron. Made in China, this set is geared toward mid-handicap men seeking easier launch. At $239.95, it's a budget-friendly hybrid iron set.
Our take
I tried the Majek MX4 hybrids to replace my long irons and ended up with a set from 7 to PW. The hybrid heads inspire confidence, and the regular flex graphite shafts helped me get the ball up quickly. Forgiveness is excellent—mis-hits still travel a decent distance. However, the set stops at PW, so you'll need to add wedges separately. The feel is a bit muted compared to forged irons, but for the price, it's a solid value. If you struggle with irons, these hybrids are worth a look.
